Vinnie was born and raised in Amsterdam, NY where he had a love for music at an early age. WKRP In Cincinnati helped him realize what he wanted to do. Vinnie attended and received degrees from New School of Radio and Television, FMCC and UAlbany.
Vinnie’s radio career began in 2003 as a part time DJ at a Schenectady classic rock station. After working there for 3 years he was offered and accepted a full-time position at a classic rock station located in Albany where one of his shows was known as “The Big Hairball “. When radio consolidation began in the big city Vinnie moved to a country station before deciding to come closer to home and accepted an offer to be on the air on WENT.
Vinnie currently resides in Fonda with his wife, 2 dogs and 2 cats. He has 2 beautiful daughters and a brand-new grandson. Vinnie enjoys rooting on the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys. In his free time, you can often find him cooking one of his favorite Italian dishes or sitting by a campfire with friends and family.
